Eleanor is a psychotherapist offering 1:1 work with clients, supervision for other therapist and consultancy and training for therapists who work with neurodivergent clients. Eleanor is neurodivergent and this lived experience strongly informed the work they do with others. Eleanor and I know each other in various capacities, which always makes for a really enjoyable collaborative process.

Stirchley Community Market is a volunteer run, community food arts and crafts market that takes place at Stirchley Baths in South Birmingham. The team behind the market, including Kerry who also runs The Old Post Office co-working space, are all really passionate about community and supporting small independent businesses. The market provides a space for designers, makers, hospitality people, charities and co-operatives to share their offerings. It also featured Stirchley Community Cinema showing films and Birmingham Community Matters offering advice to anyone who’s considering setting up a community group.

I was recently commissioned by the NHS to photograph the amazing Luca meeting his Aston Villa hero, Jacob Ramsey, at the Plasma Donation Centre in Birmingham. As far as shoots go, this was all of the things rolled into one. It was little bit chaotic in a lovely way. ITV News were there (see if you can spot me in the back of their film piece!), as were the NHS’s in house film crew. I ducked and dived around the two crews, weaved in and out of the incredible plasma machines, and generally had a lot of fun shooting in a documentary photography style, to capture the energy of this event.
